On Thursday 18 July 2019 the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) released a report of the recommendations of the Regulation of Property Agents Working Group (RoPA).
The RoPA working group has recommended in their report that:
All agencies operating a residential property business should be licensed and licensing should include a fit and proper person test for company directors.
All customer-facing staff employed within residential agency business should be licensed and adhere to a Code of Practice.
All customer-facing staff employed within residential agency business should hold a qualification at Level 3 or above.
All company directors and management agents should be qualified to a minimum of Level 4
A new regulator to be appointed to oversee compliance with an overarching Code of Practice

Will I have to revise?
This is dependant on your current experience. Most people with 3+ years in the industry will not need to revise.
Can I get this course anywhere else?
We are not aware of anyone delivering the course in the same format, but you are able to register directly with Propertymark and you can also purchase additional study material.
Is the course certified?
Yes, on successful completion you will receive certification from Propertymark
How are you able to deliver Propertymark qualifications?
We are Propertymark registered delivery and examination centre
Will I need to take and exam?
Yes, the course is designed by us so that you take exams after delivery. There are 4 exams each comprises of 20 questions and you are required to answer a minimum of 14 correctly
Do I need to attend an examination centre?
No, one of our invigilators will visit you in your office, they will provide the equipment needed.
How long is the training?
For either ARLA or NAEA training takes from 4 days to 7 months.
